Islanders Website via Associated Press: Has the early game preview which includes Carolina Friday's 7-4 loss at home vs Montreal snapped their seven games unbeaten streak. Cam Ward surrendered five first period goals before John Grahame came in but still out shot its opponent for the eighth straight game.

NYI Fan Central Comments:
Islanders better show up and outwork a team that is playing it's fourth game in six day tonight or they are not going to win and Carolina is an excellent skating team. Montreal played very well from all reports Friday. Islanders pp has to have the same success the Canadians did. I would expect Grahame to start if he played well in relief yesterday but we'll see.

A player the Islanders let get away a few years ago in Jeff Hamilton also returns to the Coliseum tonight where he barely got a look here. Hamilton had eighteen goals last season for Chicago and four in eleven this year for Chicago after being a dominating scorer for Bridgeport on a low scoring club.

Bates took Bootland's spot in practice who was put on waivers so it's Bates or Johnson on the fourth line.
Bergeron returns to the lineup with Sutton.
Peter Laviolette comes back to the Coliseum.

Associated Press via SI: Reports Carolina Saturday sent Ryan Bayda back to the AHL.
