New York Islander Fan Central | 11/14/2007 04:36:00 PM
Ct Post: Michael Fornabaio updated his blog Wednesday and reports Ben Walter and Shawn Bates should be joining the Sound Tigers at practice Thursday. Bates will be with the club until around Thanksgiving on a conditioning stint.

NYI Fan Central Comments:
I guess this means Guerin returns to the lineup against Pittsburgh and a decision on
whether the Islanders dress seven defenders with Berard's return or Jackman sits down. Still no word on where Freddy Meyer is going to play. It will be interesting to see what happenes with Bates when his conditioning stint ends.
