Sound Tigers website: Has the post game on Bridgeport's 4-3 win Sunday over the Albany River Rats where Bryan Trottier again was behind the bench.

Ct Post: Michael Fornabaio's game report is on Jeff Tambellini's hat-trick (shorthanded goal, even strength, powerplay goal) in a 4-3 win where he left before taking to the media, Albany having to use seven players on tryouts Sunday to replace eight flu-ridden players.

"Jeff's been playing well," Bridgeport coach Jack Capuano said. "He's been taking it to the net and scoring goals for us, which is great."

Ct Post: Michael Fornabaio blogs on the Sound Tigers win Sunday and the callup of Blake Comeau to the Islanders after the game.

NYI Fan Central Comments:
Love the callup of Blake Comeau, but he needs to see minutes, not fourth line shifts and less than five minutes a game. Ted Nolan had high praise for him last year.

Maybe the media just missed Tambellini but strange he had a huge game and left without talking about it.

Trots looked good behind that bench this weekend, I wonder what his involvement was in terms of the games or if he was just doing observing for the Islanders. Kenny Morrow was also working with the players and behind the bench recently.
