How long would you suspend Simon?

The video topic posted by NYI Fan Central showing Simon's stomp on Ruutu generated an all-time record for first time visitors to this blog yesterday at close to one hundred not counting returning visitors.

We all know a suspension will be announced so it's time to put yourself in Colin Campbell's position and make your call as to what you would do. I'm always critical of Campbell so I will make my decision before he does.

If it wery my choice Chris Simon would be suspended for the remainder of the 2007-08 season and playoffs for openers.

He would have to undergo counseling under league guidelines and would have to apply for reinstatement and prove to me before I allow him to play he can seperate hockey from losing his self control.

That's what I would do if it were my choice.
