Islanders website/AP: Has the preview of tonight's game against the Vancouver Canucks.

Media Blog: Cory Witt will likely have an update after the morning skate with lineup changes which could be possible after Brendan Witt blocked that third period shot.

NYI Fan Central Comments:
Simply put, this club has to step up and play a sixty minute game here and put some screens in front of Luongo and a few of Ted Nolan's passengers on the roster better start skating or others will be taking their spot. Usually when a club struggles like this to score another shutout could be coming but Garon played well and at times and had some luck with Sillinger hitting the post in the third off a great Comeau pass.

DiPietro made some great saves late in that game, it's the goals you expect him to stop like the first Oiler goal that cannot happen for him.

Vancouver has not lost in regulation in about fourteen straight games at home so they are due for a clunker on home ice. Markus Naslund will be taken off the Sedin line and skate with former Islander Taylor Pyatt and Jason Jaffray but this is not a great offensive club. They score some goals but play defense and put the game in Luongo's hands.

Islanders are in last place in this division and even with the overtime point's recently need some wins to keep pace.
