I think it's time to end any talk of playoff for the Islanders in these pregames, the injuries, struggles and standings just makes no sense to write along those lines.

I want to see if Comrie and Comeau can carry over some of that chemistry they showed against Florida with several good chances. I want to see if Jeff Tambellini with more minutes will finally have that breakout game he needs badly. More of Ben Walter, Sean Bergenheim makes it worth watching for me too.

Overall, Isles are 0-3 against Montreal and have matched up terrible with them head to head this season. The Canadians start the backup in Halak but come off a shutout loss so you can bet they will come out fast to try and bury the Isles who played well against a Florida team on their yearly March hot streak.
