Newsday: Greg Logan's article has Ted Nolan's comments on the loss while he praised Radek Martinek for how good he has been with so many different partners on defense. Joey MacDonald talked about the game and a few words from Bryan Berard.

Newsday: Greg Logan had a pregame blog on Joey MacDonald getting his first start, Kyle Okposo's first NHL goal and the lack of enforcer putting the Islanders in a situation where Bill Guerin has to fight while suggesting the Islanders should reacquire Aaron Asham who is unrestricted this summer citing his toughness from a player who also can contribute with his skating and scoring.

NYI Fan Central Comments:
Asham had only five fights last season and only two after November and two of the five fights were against former Devil Cam Jansen and he was playing with a bad hand last year. His skating would help but another veteran who cannot score attempting to play in a top nine role is the last thing this club needs. He got into it with Brent Sutter this year earlier for whatever that is worth. I expect he will be available again come July and took a pay cut to sign with the Devils.

He has had eight fights as a Devil this year.

Philadelphia Inquirer & Daily News: Combine coverage on one website on their win against the Isles with a few words from Tim Panaccio on Martin Biron winning his sixth game against the Isles this season.

Phillyburbs.com: Wayne Fish also had coverage starting with Prospal's impact for the Flyers.

Courier Post: Chuck Gormley's coverage centers on how the Islanders are very good for the Flyers powerplay this season.

Pioneer Press: John Shipley reports on Mark Parrish on pace for his worst season ever and a frequent healthy scratch with his comments and Jacques Lemaire's, who pulled no punches with the former Islander about his playing status.

Pittsburgh Post Gazette: Dave Molinary has a preview of the Islander game tonight.
