Newsday: Greg Logan recaps the Islanders shootout win with comments from Richard Park and Kyle Okposo and praised Jack Hillen for solid play and remarkable confidence.

Newsday: Steve Zipay's Ranger-centric article had Ted Nolan's comments on how Trent Hunter played giving up his body shorthanded.

Steve Zipay two post-game Ranger blogs, one pre game blog.
Greg Logan only reprinted the Islander Insider today.

NY Times: Lynn Zinser's Ranger-centric article includes comments from Ted Nolan who felt there is always something to play for.

Windsor Star: Bob Duff does a pretty unfair rip job on the Islanders farm system and giving away prospects claiming no team in the league needs Sarnia Sting centre Steven Stamkos more but will get a good player if they do not deal the pick regardless.

NYI Fan Central Comments:
Only thing with this article here is Mr Duff cannot selectively include some prospects but not others. Nielsen, Tambellini, Colliton also have be mentioned in that mix along with prospects in college and those having success on Junior teams.

Adam Baruch on the Islanders website here talk about Jason Gregoire and defenseman Blake Kessel in a group of three finalists for the USHL Forward of the Year and Defenseman of the Year awards respectively. Beyond that you also have to mention Figren, Joensuu, Marcinko and a host of others all who look like excellent prospects.

Ct Post: Michael Fornabaio recaps the Sound Tigers big win with Jeff Tambellini's comments on his third career hat-trick and Jack Capuano's comments. Blake Comeau and as many as seven players could be returned to Bridgeport.

Bridgeport 80 points with six games left.
Hershey 83 points with five games.
Senators 81 points four games to play.

Bridgeport plays at Hershey Saturday.

Philadelphia Inquirer/Daily News: Combined Phamtoms coverage.

More Saturday...
