NYI Fan Central Comments:
Islanders website has a lot of links to the players background. Twenty five year old prospect but coming off a big year, we'll see where he fits but it's obvious Garth Snow does like to go back to the college route for talent between Trevor Smith, Sean Bentivoglio last year and now Jack Hillen with Peter MacArthur playing for Bridgeport and Ryan Cruthers in Utah as Bridgeport signings.

Note-Cruthers is listed on Utah's Kelly Cup roster but AHL.com says he was released from his ATO contract.

Updated 4/10 2pm:Daily Gleaner: Bill Hunt has a full interview with the Isles new prospect, Rob Hennigar as to how he got signed and what the process was like as he signed a two-year, two-way deal with a signing bonus.

NYI Fan Central Comments:
Excellent article and interview where we learn about about the process to sign a player and what someone has to go through when a team does want to do a contract, including the medical.

Welcome to professional hockey.
