Islander News Articles 5/14:

New York Islander Fan Central | 5/13/2008 10:27:00 PM
Boston Globe: Nancy Marrapese-Burrell has a few words from Islanders goaltending coach Mike Dunham about golfing and how he will be here in July for prospects camp.

NYI Fan Central Comments:
All due respect to Mike Dunham but his comments can be perceived as he would rather be playing golf in July as opposed to his job but he was interviewed during a golf event. I would like to see some urgency from a coach after the season the Isles just completed.

Newsday: Katie Strang in Newsday's blog previews Wednesday's open house and again will be on hand to cover the event.

NYI Fan Central Comments:
Cue my usual where is Greg Logan comment. Meanwile Steve Zipay is blogging on Ranger prospects transfering to European teams for his readers even after having to work much longer this season. Former Islander goalie Dusan Salficky is transfering again for anyone interested.

Islanders website: Has a Tuesday night feature on Clancy nominee Bill Guerin for his leadership with comments from Aaron Johnson, Trent Hunter, Bruno Gervais, Mike Comrie & Blake Comeau.

Newsday: Keith Herbert already is asking if Cablevision's deal will mean objective coverage of business and sports news while the Newsday blog links to the Huffington Post article by Marvin Kitman blasting James Dolan here while several Newsday blogs are asking the same thing as Bart Jones and Erik German's article on Charles Dolan again mentions Charles Wang here and if the elder Dolan will provide objective coverage while protecting the properties he owns.

More tomorrow if some updated news.
