Times & Transcript: Reports the City of Summerside announced yesterday it will host a National Hockey League pre-season game between the New York Islanders and Florida Panthers on Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. at Credit Union Place.
The Islanders played their inter-squad Blue and White game to a sold out crowd at Credit Union Place last September. This will be the first time a NHL exhibition game has been played on Prince Edward Island.
