Sault Star: Peter Rucci blasted Islanders Owner Charles Wang and General Manager Garth Snow for their track records, the management committee and what he calls the circus atmospher around the club and makes the point Ted Nolan is better off without them while stating the former coach is a good man with a proven track record in both the NHL and major junior hockey and asks the question don't you actually have to have a philosophy before you can have "philosophical differences?"
Sault Star: The Editorial in the paper talked about the life lessons and class in his public comments Ted Nolan showed when he decided not to return while the paper repeated his quotes about his contract back on May 2nd and that even though this stings they are confident Nolan will on his feet and continue to be a good role model for natives and for all Canadians.
NYI Fan Central Comments:
This was the paper and beatwriter Ted Nolan to about his contract in on 5/2 after the club made it clear they did not want management contracts discussed in the paper.
I think I will send Mr Ruicci an e-mail with my own questions, if he responds I will post it in a blog here.
