Flyers Website/PR Blog: Previews the Flyers at Monday practice while the Islanders prepare to have Colin Powell drop the puck again on Tuesday here.

Since the last game the Flyers have traded Steve Downie and Steve Eminger for defender Matt Carle from the Sharks, Danny Briere, who missed the last Islander game in Philadelphia should be in the lineup this time.

NYI Fan Central Comments:
Islanders play a struggling club at the bottom of the league in goals against. It's time for a breakout game for some of these forwards where they pin the Flyers in their end of the ice and then make them pay with some powerplay goals. It's time for Tambellini, Okposo, to finish a play with a goal.

MacDonald is hanging in but his career record suggest he has struggles in the AHL so he will have them here. Islanders have to get him those four goals and play a little defense.

Flyers have been struggling and will come in very hungry for two points, Islanders outworked them the second half of the game in Philadelphia and need to do that here as well while staying out of the box.

I'm going to miss this game, will tape and do a postgame afterward.

BEFORE TUESDAY'S GAME ON VETERANS DAY AGAINST FLYERS.

NCFF-OWW is a registered non-profit organization of Fire Fighters who run a collection campaign of care package items prior to the holidays for the past several years.

During the first weekend in December the group will be involved with "Long Red Line" of fire vehicles that bring the collections to the Wounded Warriors who will be spending their holidays recovering in Hospitals away from their families who visit, Fr.
