Between Tim Connolly, Raffi Torres and Taylor Pyatt seems the Islanders top picks from that era have this ability not to be very durable or productive.

1999 Draft Class: Four First Rd Picks:
Tim Connolly, Taylor Pyatt, Branislav Mezei, Kristian Kudroc, Mattias Weinhandl, Brian Collins, Juraj Kolnik, Johan Halvardsson, Justin Mapletoft, Adam Johnson, Bjorn Melin, Radek Martinek, Brett Henning, Tyler Scott.

Sometimes going all youth fails too.

Los Angeles Times: Chris Foster reports Sean Avery has been suspended pending a hearing by the league with Dallas owner Tom Hicks saying he would have suspended him for inappropriate conduct.

NYI Fan Central Comments:

Bridgeport plays at home again to the Wolfpack Wednesday at 7pm.
