Newsday: Greg Logan asks head coach Scott Gordon to elaborate on his comment about Kyle Okposo doing things that he did not know were in his repertoire with the head coach responding about Okposo's ability to carry the puck, change speed, pull back, look-away combined with patience when he has the puck to find holes and play deceptive.

Okposo for his part feels his situation is far more settled than it was a year ago that this takes pressure off of him while he explains he is scoring because he is finding the " soft " area as he credited Blake Comeau and Josh Bailey for their patience with the puck helping the line to jell.

NYI Fan Central Comments:
It should be noted Okposo's goal against Florida partly came off the work of Frans Nielsen, but so far it seems the change from Comrie to Bailey at center has not hurt the line in any way.

For now it seems Scott Gordon perfers Okposo's right handed shot off left wing point on the powerplay so Hunter-Guerin can play right wing.

The story for me is not just Okposo's scoring but the plays he is making to create quality chances.
