NYIFC Changes

Some changes at NYIFC.

* Expect fewer NYIFC blog entries as things move forward, several twitter updates daily to follow here for everyone.


* Today NYIFC Opened It's Professional Media Twitter Box.
Professional hockey media like Kevin Allen, Craig Custance, Bob McKenzie, Darren Dreger and of course Katie Stang, Mr Botta, Michael Fornabaio, Bridgeport Sound Tigers, NHL, AHL, NHL Live will be part of the list of twitter feeds included.

New York Islanders do not have a twitter feed for those wondering. Daily News, Post, NY Times do not have twitter feeds for our hockey writers.

I had to keep some twitter feeds out because many were not hockey or Islander centric which is why Mr Witt, Justin Bourne and some others have their links on this page but not their feeds.

Things will move very quickly with twitter as hockey media updates several entries at once. I will also be making constant changes focusing on Islander/hockey centric information above where x writer went to dinner after the game.

* I have been considering this for a while now and have decided to no longer feature the Islander blog box individual content feeds.

My apologies to anyone offended by this but there simply has not been enough written by the collective group to give it the space I had designated for it any longer. No other blog box member gave the other members as much space as NYIFC did for their latest entries. I retained the blog box picture that includes Islander website link to the blog box page.

If anyone in the blog box wants to add their individual link to this page please e-mail and let me know.

* I have also eliminated the Lighthouse section and media links. I kept their feed working if they have anything to announce so it will appear in the media section automatically.

* Some fan websites/blogs ect advertised here have outdated links or one or two sites advertised here simply do not fit the criteria for Islander related information and have been removed, my apologies to anyone this may apply to.
