The Only Acceptable Logo Change For NY

Looking back it's the one mistake from the 1972-73 logo but to be fair John Alogna's iconic design was done on the shortest notice for those who remember the stories behind it.

Mr Alogna's design did not have four strips as subtle as this change was incorporate in the return from the darker blue version. 

Do I feel any change must be made at all? No. We have football teams in New Jersey with NY on their logo calling themselves New York with the Red Bull. 

The real design work done here was on the Nassau Coliseum roof being integrated into the NYIFC design here with some other subtle changes.
