Lamoriello signed two early, under usual rules, Jenkins had to be signed by 5/31/20, but it seems that deadline was pushed back.

NYIFC Comments:

It's a cash-grab, the only acceptable plan is to cancel, do draft, UFA when it usually happens. They are going to lose two seasons, and injure a ton of players who have not been off skates this long since childhood. The math/money does not work, players will be sitting home since March who failed to qualify almost into 2021, UFA will not be able to move their families for school in new places where it started.

When Milbury had money to spend for a few months before ownership demanded more cost-cutting trades, he struggled in deals badly. Between Hlavac, Lukowich, Nemchinov a descent core that would have helped kept being downsized. The return for Jorgen Jonsson was poor. This really changed my impressions beyond the big deals, and the wins like Czerkawski, Blake, Hunter.

#NYI #isles So what does AHL cancellation mean for New York signed prospects? It means all signed NYI contracted players in AHL are required to report to Northwell or a neutral site to practice for a month, and likely would never see the ice for a sham tournament.

NYIFC Notable

Making a few mistakes on prospects. Robin Salo (SHL) has a four year transfer agreement, so he is NYI prospect until 5/31/2021.

A second mistake was made on Collin Adams, who's college rights do not expire until 2021.

As for the teams reserve list, Andong Song's rights belong to NYI until 8/14/24. Johan Sundstrom's NYI rights expire on 6/27/2020.

Prospect site was given an update to reflect the day each prospect must be re-signed by.

All sites were given the older, richer, colors for now.
