#NYC #NYI #isles This is not the last two seasons, they are out of a playoff spot, and too far behind too many teams. To get in the conversation of the last two seasons, it's going to take another 9/10 streak. And 12 over is likely not enough this time.

The Bottom Line:
New York Should Sell Addition By Subraction To Make Playoffs
Pageau, Cizikas, Palmieri...Unload them as fast as possible. Same for MacLean who is an AHL player, Gatcomb, Holmstrom, Tsyplakov could use more minutes, anyone can go 25-30 games without goals, who can't skate, backcheck or win pucks like the above players. Lamoriello said it was a mistake to sign them over a year ago. They will get younger, faster without them.
Would like Nelson to stay but it's a team friendly deal before the deadline or goodbye until 7/1 if he reaches UFA.
Dobson was a 70 point plus 12 player last season until Roy became coach and the mistakes got worse as the production went down, he was hurt before the playoffs, he's getting hurt more now.
Obviously no one will want Fasching, Martin, Engvall.
I'm listening on Lee but he's recovered well from his injuries, and could live with his playing out his contract. Pulock's been hurt a lot, not productive enough since his signing, I'm listening but want a big return, same for Pelech.
The waiver pickups I'm listening but they just cleared waivers. Obviously Reilly should move on or retire. Cholowski has a descent run, but he is an AHL player. Varlamov is healthy you sell, he served his purpose a year ago.
I'm also listening on Barzal, who always injured as a winger, and not scoring enough for his salary.

He's been hurt as a winger or not scoring since he gave up playing center in the Horvat trade. First time was that game in Boston a few years ago.
