They needed his offense, defensive mistakes regardless. The RD list here and in UFA was very weak. It's not a replacement but best they likely could do without a trade. He had the hammer here, surprised he did not hold out for three years from soneone, this was someone no one wanted last year in Russia.
#NYC #NYI #isles They needed DeAngelo, one look at depth chart for RD here and around NHL, weak defense or not they needed a band aid on a broken leg to replace a little of Dobson's offense. They still have a problem there.
