Newsday: Mark Herrmann's article has to do with Bill Guerin settling to the community.

"I think everybody on the team has a good relationship with our fans because they're into it, they love the Islanders and things are going well right now," he said. "When the Islanders let a bunch of guys go, they were a little skeptical, but I think they know the type of guys we've got."

On Head Coach Ted Nolan:

"He's not a hard guy to get along with. He doesn't ask for a lot, just that you work hard and show up to play every night," Guerin said. "Really, that's not a lot to ask for, being it's our job."

Ct Post: Michael Fornabaio has an update on Sound Tigers practice Monday after a 6-1 loss.

"We refreshed the guys on some systems," coach Jack Capuano said. "Obviously we didn't play very well in the first half of the game. We had a good meeting this morning to go over some things."

On the Ryan Smyth return to Edmonton Front there was very little Islander-related beyond his trade but here is a link to most of the articles.
