Islander Media Agreement/Poll Update

Wilen Media: Announces they have entered into a multi-service marketing agreement for Wilen Media to become an agency of record with comments from Islanders President Chris Dey.

As part of the agreement, Wilen Media will provide overall strategic direction, creative services and marketing communications. Using its full spectrum of marketing, advertising and data products and services, Wilen will offer a wide range of services, including database development and management; creative development for radio, TV, online and print; online marketing and advertising; and media planning and buying.

NYI Fan Central Comments:
Good stuff from the VP saying one of the key objectives is to get the people of New York excited about the only professional sports team located on Long Island.

Someone better start talking New York around here besides me because a large part of the Islander fan base works/lives in Metro New York.

Poll Results:
This weeks poll results are in which was about what game not on the Islanders website for a classic game would you like to see? I messed up Islanders-Oilers from 1981 that went six games (not five) but overall folks wanted to see the 1981 semi-final sweep against the Rangers above all.

Good news here is I have some audio records of games three and four from Msg of the Islanders 1981 semi-final sweep of the Rangers and will work to release them in the future.
