Final State of Islander Prospects

I left the link up to Michael Fornabaio's article he does at the end of every Bridgeport season where he list the contract status of everyone in Bridgeport.

Max Gratchev and Simon Lacroix do have to be signed by 6/1 or they can re-enter the NHL draft. Aside from that I do not think another CHL prospect has a deadline to sign, even the overage ones.

At this time there are no graduating seniors from college that mandate the Isles to sign them (unless someone off the radar like Troy Mattila, Shea Guthrie, Tyrell Mason are) or lose them unless someone decides to leave school and turn pro.

That will start to change next summer to a larger degree.

With no transfer agreement there is nothing to write about any of the European prospects status until it is finally settled. Some are signed in Europe but after Radulov in Nashville seems anyone can do anything in some instances even with a contract but hopefully the all sides respect the verbal agreement between IIHF, Rene Fasel, the KHL/NHL not to sign anyone other leagues signed players but it did fail because of the time line on Radulov on that verbal agreement.

The Isles did live up to their agreement on Robin Figren to play his first contract year in Europe, I suspect now he has to play in North America.

NYIFC Prospect blog has the links to these sites. That blog will not be updated to include this summers changes or draft picks.
