Newsday: Greg Logan's article is about the Islanders offensive struggles with only seven goals in the last four games, the defensive style the club is playing and the shifting of Guerin and Hunter.

"Billy and Silly are so old, they want to split those two guys up. No, it's one of those things where I think Teddy tries to keep things fresh. Billy and Trent are interchangeable because of the shots they have. We all need to start scoring more. It takes pressure off everyone if everybody chips in."

Newsday: Greg Logan's blog is about how Ted Nolan did not like Sean Bergenheim's game Friday and put Richard Park in his spot, but is very happy with his overall game. A very fair question is also asked about why not switch Park with Andy Hilbert who to date does not have a single goal and what could happen when Shawn Bates returns later this week.

“Andy Hilbert seemed to get a little bit better last game. One thing we never want to do is give up on people. You let them ride through it, and you show confidence in them.

“Hopefully, Andy will get his game going and play the way he’s capable of playing. We don’t expect him to score hat tricks for us, but we expect him to play sound defensively, be a force on the forecheck for us and create opportunities for his linemates, which he’s done very successfully so far.”

NYI Fan Central Comments:
Seems like Park is the best scoring alternative on the third line since Jon Sim is out for the season. Were getting close to twenty games and no goals for Andy Hilbert regardless of his defensive game means time has to be running out on a team that has too many players not scoring, specifically Mike Sillinger who has been Hilbert's center.
