Islanders website/AP: Has the preview of tonight's game against the Buffalo Sabres. Freddy Meyer and Blake Comeau will play, Bryan Berard and Marc-Andre Bergeron will sit.

"Talk about a team guy," said head coach Ted Nolan of Meyer. "He's been very patient, working his tail off and he deserves a chance to play. So he'll team up with Andy Sutton."

The Sabres' have won three games in a row and are 10-4-0 in their last 14 contests, Dimitri Kalinin returns to the lineup for Buffalo.

NYI Fan Central Comments:
The time for talk is over for the Islanders and so is the announcement about Chris Simon. Either they work hard from the opening minute or Buffalo will pick up where they left off a week ago when they led from beginning to end.

Both teams have had four days off going in.

Interesting Ted Nolan said how players will have to earn ice time or they will not play and there will be changes. This is the club he will have until after the trade freeze which begins today so what changes is he going to make other than give Richard Park more minutes for a forward not working hard.

I'm very interested to see Blake Comeau's second go around with the Islanders, who skated with Richard Park and Tim Jackman. Comeau has been playing left wing for Bridgeport even though he's been a right wing.

If the Islanders have a sixty minute game in them, it's time to show it.
