"That's quite a home debut for a top prospect who's only 19 years old and playing in the American Hockey League," Islanders assistant general manager Ryan Jankowski said during the second intermission while enjoying the view with a host of Islanders scouts.

"What's so impressive is how he's making everyone around him better," said Islanders scout Eric Cairns. "He's always looking to make the right play and create space for his linemates."
