Colin White is listed as day to day with an upper body injury as the only Devil regular injured.

NYI Fan Central Comments:
Very tough game against a team playing some very good hockey who just dominated Carolina in their last game and take the ice after a few days off. Gervais returns to the Isles defense but it's going to take a much better effort than we saw against Tampa, Washington and San Jose to earn two points here in terms of skating and transition.

We all know the numbers this season against the Devils which no doubt will be a big motivational factor for New Jersey. Islanders need take one look at the standings with someone out of Rangers-Buffalo gaining two points Saturday and know they need a win to keep pace as teams have games in hand as their motivation.
