Islanders website: Confirms signings without contract details with Mike Comrie and Garth Snow's comments.

NYI Fan Central Comments:
Little to add that I did not write in the news articles when Darren Dreger said it was likely to happen around midnight. He's now tied to Guerin and got a healthy raise for a one year extension and a year for both sides to see if this works long term.

Newsday: Greg Logan has more on the signing snd reports one source involved in several high-profile negotiations today suggested Snow’s moves to lock down key players might be laying the groundwork to become a buyer later today.
