NYIFC to Remain Up For Bridgeport & WC

The final day of any updates here ever will be still April 17th but I have decided to leave the blog up and available to everyone for the Sound Tigers playoffs and the World Championships.

The way this will work is I will create one blog entry with the Ct Post Sound Tigers news feed which they created for NYIFC and set that as a crawl at the top of the page. The Bridgeport Website Feed will work off the sidebar as it has all season.

I will also keep the prospect blog up with which has a huge Sound Tigers section that also includes a live scoreboard. I will put up links to direct news coverage of the team the Sound Tigers play.

This way if Bridgeport goes all the way to win the Calder Cup, you have great access from NYIFC.

If Newsday actually does cover those games at Coliseum you can access the articles all over NYIFC without me.

In addition, before blogging stops 4/17 NYIFC will create a special section for the 2009 World Championships so everyone can follow the games on the sidebar with a lot of Islanders seemingly in the mix it's a bigger event than last year for our fans.

I know some folks wanted more but this seems a good compromise. When the Sound Tigers are eliminated and the WC ends the blog will be deleted or set to private.
