Most by now here have noticed my extremely conservative/measured tone on NYI playoffs chances, it's as simple as this: Still too many games to play even with the number of games remaining down to two weeks.
It's not west, or a thirty one team playoff format. It's a much greater accomplishment to qualify in this conference right now, there is still too much work to be done.
In the AHL Bridgeport has a little work left to do themselves.
