Bottom line veterans start scoring or this team will quickly fall 10 points out of the final seed, and most of these veterans are not going to score. As Wild goalie pointed out most of NY goals come from point shots. No gm is going to find anyone to take the many bad contracts signed here in Pageau, Palmieri, Cizikas, Martin, Clutterbuck, Johnston. Fasching is an AHL journeyman, not a scorer. Parise got some bounces off him or deflections, he's only going to wear down even more. Without Sorokin this season is over a long time ago, and the younger rebuilding/rebuilt teams will make a push, and I would not count out Florida's skilled core. Boston is 34-5, is finishing 8th really going to produce another upset?
