I'm no fan of John Collins, a man who was NHL COO for nine years, now with clearly a big rule in the business, and clearly now hockey decisions. Other teams dropped their hockey broadcast on radio, this team had two good people, wherever the games were aired in too many networks to count. I would be surprised if Collins does not install himself as new team President, and promote Patrick Roy to general manager. Lamoriello kept virtually everyone from Snow's tenure, adding Jacques Lemaire, and a few Devils cronies, with Seidenberg. I do feel a house cleaning is needed but for now even Snow hire, Chris Lamoriello remains with the worst AHL team in franchise history.
The cap in three years will pass 110 million, this team today operates far above it's means, gutting things would hardly shock me in a place simply not able to sustain an NHL franchise.
