Roster Updates/Beginning of the End

Sam Bolduc signed with the Kings on Tuesday.

The prospect site is updated, it does not include anyone over the age of 25. A link at the bottom will bring you to all players in the organizaion of any age. Some of Darche's signings yesterday are over 25, none are beyond next season. The players under contract who would be ogligated to play in Hamilton are listed above. Mostly likely would be in the NHL or gone by that point.

I have little doubt Bridgeport will move to Hamilton for 2026-27, despite local government just finding out in Ct despite ten year lease from 2021, and 30 million in renovations. Oakview operates/both buildings in Ct/Hamilton but does not own them. I hold the fans in Bridgeport completely blameless for a franchise that had not had not won a playoff series since 2003, and fell off the map during the pandemic. I also do absolutely think when 26-27 concludes the failed Belmont experiment will also end for the New York Islanders as it's home. The team will return to Barclay's or sell out of market as Aqueduct/Belmont become the Parks #1 event. The rent-a-team NHL will be moving on with the built for music concerts being what it was always for. Dolan will negotiate a TV contract buyout on 2031 deal which is close to 200 million dollars. Bew owners will pay the 86.25 million to leave Belmont which is a drop in the bucket, and the league will have no problem with a team playing in a 1/2 filled building moving to a place with the building filled 41 times. If Malkin/owners sell they will get close to two billion. Malkin will sell/keep his retail village as he rents space to tenants. New York Islanders cannot play in that location in a 1/2 filled building. Time will be up once and for all. Also expect the ECHL lease which concludes in Worcester not to be renewed after 2025-2026

Everyone knew Belmont/Queens would never work, the revenue/fan support are not there. No shock NHL cancelled the ASG for minor events, and no doubt the other owners, expect NYI to make money or the league will find a location that will.
