Hear from Matthew Schaefer, Cal Ritchie, and Head Coach Patrick Roy after Day 14 of #Isles Training Camp ⬇️

Roy said George will stay for the game in Philadelphia but likely will not play but to get experience with veterans=fully expect his demotion.
Darche said Ritchie may have to go down for a while=count on it.
Highmore and anyone not cut on the outside will be. Highmore on waivers 9/30.
Gatcomb/MacLean=I expect Gatcomb will win the 13th forward spot to start if they carry one.
Rittich will beat out Hogberg but it likely won't be for long. I don't see Varlamov playing again. Hogberg on waivers 9/30/25.
Cizikas should be on shaky ground, but he won't be with the county club atmosphere.
George should stay on right defense for Boqvist, who was terrible last season when Roy played him which was not often, but he won't.
Would I keep Schaefer. Yes, they can't afford to lose his skating. Other teams are going to hammer him. NYI have no players who fight.
For all Engvall's downside, he is a noticable skater which team is painfully lacking. He'll get his chances when he's healthy.
There will be injuries with this group. Barzal looks good back at center but other teams will target him.
