New York Wins VS Columbus, Now What?

They found a way with a 1-0 win against a team that was 18-2-3, it is kind of what the New York Islanders do against top teams, we know it's the reverse against bottom teams so we will likely see shifts both ways. No game is easy with an offense that can't produce. To be fair Greaves was excellent or New York wins going away, they had excellent chances, and with Schaefer moving to RD without Ryan Pulock found a way. He's everything any team could ask for, and a generational talent who can beat players with his speed, skill, ability to read plays. He's that good, and so was Pelech who does things Hedman does.

Now they have to do what they have not done so far, not live in hotels, and play/win/get points/here. They also have a four day off break in early April that likely will decide if they qualify when we see where they sit after that rest. NHL is funny, teams have streaks both ways, maybe a loss pops Columbus's bubble, same for Pens who are rebuilt with young/fast fowards comparable to Holmstrom who's been outstanding. Dallas will come here Thursday with their spot clinched, then Florida who is done but it took all NY could do to hold them off 5-4 here. The Pens rematch which New York won here recently.

I have no preference, just qualify, all the teams are capable of going on a big run. New York keeps getting past their scoring issues to win. We'll see. Hope so. I may not like this team on paper, but clearly they leave it all on the ice for all my criticims.
