Every year is different/every team is different. A win is a win. All teams will likely win 25-30 games, usually even the worst NHL teams.
Cliche time over.
I saw a New York team that allowed too many shots, did not move puck well on powerplay but got a goal. Like last season we saw another Devils goalie who made a few good early saves, then like Markstrom/Allen last year pucks started going through their goalie, they did not clear their own end due to turnovers, and New York got their goals. I don't think New York get's more then a goal against a sharp goaltender. Eklund/Ritchie had a nice steup. Schenn finished the Daws mistake, and set one up. But it's something to be happy about, I don't care if they win every game this way, but that's not happening. Enjoy this for a few days.
#NYC #NYI #isles For this to work beyond one game, Maccelli, Duclair, Palmieri must produce. This is a 1-0 game against a hot goalie. Daws was not that guy. Schaefer's shot got through for rebounds. Happy tonight, scorers need to score. Devils still mediocre Devils.
