Newsday: Mr Logan's post game article has comments from Frans Nielsen about his shootout goal and the play of Joey MacDonald while the Islander goaltender talked about the matchup with Roberto Luongo and the shootout.

Mr Logan also reported Kyle Okposo could not participate in the shootout because of an injury according to head coach Scott Gordon.

Newsday: Mr Logan's other article is more from Roberto Luongo while the beatwriter once again goes over the history of the trade.

NYI Fan Central Comments:
I can understand this a bit from the Vancouver media because it was his first visit since his trade from Florida to Vancouver but why is this a story at all for Mr Logan considering the countless times Luongo has played at the Nassau Coliseum since he was traded in 2000?

Daily News: Mr Botte submitted a second draft of mostly the same article but this version had comments from Nielsen, MacDonald and a quick work from head coach Scott Gordon on Okposo.

Note:
Mr Botte's earlier version had no quotes and only the history of Luongo with a two paragraph recap of the game and I was critical of the poor content from Mr Botte who's work should be better than this anyway.
