Short of Malkin, Wilpon, Sterling or Oakview pulling out of this deal, Dolan will be handed his Belmont arena. It's a lock with no political authority to stop it's approval.
Andrew Cuomo wants something, it happens. I did some research on the Public Authorities Control Board, it's not the days of Shelly Silver blocking the west side stadium anymore because Dolan lined his pockets with his kids. Today it's a rubber stamp for Cuomo, who can remove any member for not voting his way to the point it's considered a crime.
