Upping my game on twitter, will have more here. I would hire the lady from the Devils to become the new gm. Not going to lie, the teams business is a disaster, can't pay King/Picker, we need more fans, Nassau/Suffolk not fit for NHL, they need to return to NYC like Liberty did, which was a grand slam for their business with ladies, won WNBA title being sold by Dolan, and went down Canyon of Hero's.
This would give NYI far more fans, and publicity, with cap exploding in next three years, and no one wanting any part of Belmont, and a tenant opt-out the team can exerise at any time. This franchise desperately needs an influx of new demographics which Barclay's again can provide. People may not agree with my thinking here, but this franchise is not in their prison sentence lease with Smg/Nassau until 2015, and Belmont/NYRA has NYI as a rent-a-team until racing returns with Aqueduct. I do see them getting the Gila River Arena treatment, we know whatever event replaces the ASG will be a joke or at best another outdoor game we host so Dolan can keep his tax exemption.
#NYC #NYI #isles So the failed Belmont experiment presidency went from Barclay's Tom Pistore/Dolan's guy Hank Abate in 2020 to Kim Stone (huge fanfare) in July 2022/Jan 2024. Michael Sciortino is current VP hired July 2020 they named no new president since https://t.co/NpNp8U5a25

My apologies for missing Kim Stone left the UBS arena presidency in January 2024, and accusing her of padding Islander attendance with John Collins. They slaughtered a ton of trees when she was hired to hype her, none about her departure. A vice president now has the role so for now that title was not replaced, and it's not easy information to obtain. The bloggers selling Belmont want their credentials and a pat on the head with those clicks.
#NYC #NYI #Isles I have made a mistake. All the times Kim Stone was mentioned of being president of the failed Belmont experiment last season and padding attendance, she quit Belmont/Oakview on 1/4/24. https://t.co/5ggQ21a5IK

#NYC #NYI #isles Lou also inherited Snow's staff (including his son already here) and virtually all of them were retained to this day. Many management/staff contracts end on 7/1 (like players) so expect a gm around 5/22 (perhaps earlier) and then we'll see what he does w/Roy.
