Odd/mistake prone game on both sides, but New York did rally, and win a game they were behind most of the game. Usual suspects struggled, Barzal had to make another play surrounded by Senators before Palmieri finally gave them something vs his terrible defensive zone coverage that led to goals against. I'm no fan of the Dobson trade, but Heineman is a player. His shot, ability to get in dirty area's, and win pucks is what this team desperately needs. Boqvist looked as terrible as he did last season when he dressed. Drouin is proving me wrong a little but needs goals. Horvat is settling in now that he scored. Shabanov is absolutely a player but with Pageau as his center he's alone out there which is the same for the players with Cizikas. Sorokin has to make his saves, sure he stole the game in the third, but too many goals get past him he should stop. Roy likely will put Holmstrom in the stands with Tsyplakov who's moved from side to side too often.
Schaefer has been flat out great, this team should be undefeated with how he's carrying them at this age is stunning on every level considering he barely played last season.
Lee made a great play, not concerned with him, but he has to give this team more in his walk year. MacLean is just terrible for as little as he plays, and who is his center.
