Newsday: Erik Boland has Ted Nolan's comments on Tambellini going down to Bridgeport along with Frans Nielsen returning to the Islander lineup. Matt Spiller is likely to return to New York but everything else is not decided at present.

NYI Fan Central Comments:
Bridgeport has games Saturday and Sunday. Colliton did not play for Bridgeport Friday so it looks like he stayed in New York. With Nielsen back and perhaps Comrie I think the Isles need one other forward.

Spiller or another defender has to come up.

Times Union: Matt Graves and Buzz Grey have Islander prospect Shea Guthrie's comments after his game winning goal for Clarkson against St. Cloud State on Friday in the NCAA East Regional semifinals in Albany against fellow Islander prospect, goaltender Jase Weslosky.

St Cloud Times: Kevin Allenspach's coverage had comments Islander prospect Jase Weslosky was the best player on the ice with thirty eight saves. Reports the Sound Tigers won a big game Friday night at home against Hershey 4-2. Jeff Tambellini, Tim Jackman, scored for Bridgeport. Steve Regier had an assist, Matt Spiller had the empty net goal. Joey MacDonald made twenty nine saves. Ben Walter had two assist.
