Easier to post comments quickly on recent moves/free agents so folks can read a mix of blog entries, twitter comments on various Islander/NHL subjects that I wish to discuss.

NYIFC Changes:
A new header tribute to the multiple cup winners for the New York Islanders at the bottom of the page starting with Brent Sutter, Billy Carroll, Roland Melanson, Bob Lorimer, Gary Howatt, Steve Tambellini, Tomas Jonsson, Mike McEwen, Jean Potvin, Hector Marini, Mats Hallin, Paul Boultier.
Wanted to include Chico Resch, he would not qualify. Jean Potvin did.
Also added is the 1980 Audio classic " The Chemistry Was Just Right with Bob Lawrence " On the 1980 Islanders, with some fun things like personal audio of 1981 Msg sweep of Rangers with Barry Landers, Jean Potvin, Marv Albert.
Added audio recording of Isles two shorthanded goals on same pp during 1981 finals vs Minnesota North Stars.
Was able to put together the Islanders theme song without commentary, along with an amazing " Let's Go Islanders chant " from Bill Smith's retirement ceremony after Jiggs McDonald's introduction in 1993
Found a nice color image of Jim Devellano in color with the Islanders and the Stanley Cup.
