Would suggest folks watch this for thirty minutes.
Not bad at all, it was done around time Coliseum was getting 8,000 in October, before Travis Williams left, does not address Nassau attendance problems or go near true ownership/management at Belmont, and ties to Cuomo-Dolan-cronies. Host did nice job pointing out Caps/past.— New York Islander Fan Central (@NYIFANCENTRAL) January 29, 2020
Ledecky, not only mocked the reports, he made clear it would take years to construct an arena like it was not even on the radar. That's how fast Belmont can be moved to another NHL market when it opens, and the building is half-filled for the NHL. The NYRA is going to do it's renovations, Azoff is going to get his 100 plus acts, Oakview-Leiweke are going to make their money as our new Smg, and we'll see how far Malkin's retail village goes as the silence around the Wilpon's, Sterling, and Richard Browne are deafening as Willets Points sits undeveloped. Maybe Mets future sale gives Wilpon some financial traction for Belmont. Dolan has his arena, eight miles from the one he wants gone, his AHL team in waiting for Belmont, same as his 2013 Coliseum bid.

It was a nice interview on that video, but beware what people say is not exactly what they do, and if NYI were negotiating for an arena early in 2016, what he said in August 2016 was a flat out lie. In the good news department, Coliseum plan hater, Stuart Rabinowicz, is retiring from Hofstra. For years he stonewalled every plan for the HUB, did nothing for the NYI, and was hardly shy about doing nothing for the Jets/Cosmos with Nassau.
