Things are what they are regarding this team/season, it was easy to see coming long before the puck dropped. Even in Snow's final season NY was only four points out of the playoffs at the trade deadline. We don't get NHL seasons where the eight seeds are decided 30 plus games in advance, where games are all meaningless besides positioning.
Now decisions have to be made, and they should be entirely based upon what we saw starting opening night that proved this franchise was nowhere close to be a cup finalist in an 82 game season vs all the teams.
