Seattle selects: Jordan Eberle

Seattle has selected Jordan Eberle from New York. Not much to write, Seattle took best scorer available from New York, now Lamoriello has to replace that with the cap space he gained or fill the spot from within. Eberle was excellent here at times, it was a good deal bringing him here, and he had some dominating stretches, thanks/best of luck to Mr Eberle.
Thursday will bring the full schedule release, and the September, October November? preseason games people paid for. Flyers put out their preseason which includes NY.

5.5 is a good number, it's likely front-loaded/lockout protected, would not have gone much higher than six, another satisfied customer. They needed a right wing.

New York Trades Strome For Eberle

Islanders website: Release with Snow's comments about a player who had zero goals in 13 playoff games at -6 rating.
NYIFC Comments: 
Eberle is a RW, Strome was a center, who kept getting pushed to right wing, and still the 5th overall pick almost had 20 goals/50 points.

Eberle is someone Edmonton clearly was not thrilled with win or lose, and makes six million dollars for the next two years.

After that the Islanders could be left with nothing for a 5th overall pick, we have seen that movie before.

Edmonton get's a 23 year old player.

Should Ebele be a better right wing than Strome based on last season?
At six million he needs to produce to his contract.
