USA Today/AP: Reports Sidney Crosby is questionable for tonight's game against the Islanders while Pittsburgh Post Gazette's Dave Molinary here has more on this and reports Dany Sabourin is expected to start in goal.

Pittsburgh Tribune Review: Mike Prisuta has Crosby's comments he hopes to suit up for tonight's game while Miroslav Satan says the Islanders decided they're going to go with young guys and rebuild, and he would rather be on a team that has a chance to win.

Crosby is expected to play tonight.

NYI Fan Central Comments:
Have to think this is a very fragile and angry Islander team hearing about all the blown leads but right now they only have time to get back to work and start skating.

Pens come in with Whitney and Gonchar out long-term on defense, no excuse for the Islanders not to get in the trenches and make the Pens defense work in their own end of the ice.

The Islanders simply cannot afford to sink much lower in the standings or they are going to reach that double-digit point level plus of being out of contention which means forget any realistic shot at a playoff race unless this group has a significant winning streak in them.

The defense is going to have to make some plays, the forwards need some even strength and MacDonald has to keep playing at a high level and give them a chance.

The practice lines looked promising with Bergenheim back and Okposo on right wing with Tambellini on the left with Nielsen and Hunter.

Pittsburgh has won two straight with Satan playing well along with Malkin, no doubt both former Islanders will want to prove something to their former management.

Ct Post: Michael Fornabaio reports in his Sound Tigers blog Tim Jackman was recalled to New York, Mitch Fritz and Ben Walter will play tonight for the Sound Tigers.
