Newsday: Greg Logan's article is on defenseman Mark Streit with head coach Scott Gordon's comments the defender does not sacrifice defense for offense and did not know any defender having a better season as Streit discussed his powerplay goals in Sunday's game and possible Norris consideration.

St Cloud Times: Kevin Allenspatch reports on the end of St Cloud State's with comments from Islander 4th round prospect goaltender Jase Weslosky, who says he will return for his senior season but faces competition for a spot in goal.

Sports Business Journal: Tripp Mickle-Eric Fisher reports the league and team Cablevision appear ready to settle their lawsuit with seemingly the Dolan's record for losing still perfect as this article claims they will have to pay 15m for the league's legal fees as part of what is still being negotiated along with the latest poor NBC ratings for Dick Ebersol's Ranger-Flyer weekly Msg spamfest here.

NYI Fan Central Comments:
It should be noted the Ranger-Bruin game generated a very low 0.8 the week before and that's with Islander and Devil fans helping those numbers that could not beat NASCAR or out of town basketball games in New York City.

It's time to show the best teams, not the ones Dick Ebersol has a business relationship with for the good of the league. A lot of teams in this league can do as well or better than a 0.8 rating.
