Shabanov in tonight.
Last year New York played it's best game of the season in Colorado, a nice, sharp 6-2 win with some great plays for goals. All the players who scored on both teams aside from one goal are/were NYI. Ritchie returns where he scored his only career goal to date where he beat Oliver Wahlstrom.

We know the math and the records for both teams, this is as tough as it get's but someone's streak is due to end, NY got a day off, Mayfield is there and we'll see.

The playoff cut is rising, with Tampa, Toronto, Florida, Washington below it, so expect those teams to make a push.

New York has to get points here, and expect if Shabanov returns, the country club players (Cizikas/Palmieri) will not come out, and Tsyplakov will.

I used my X/twitter and hammered Larry Brooks the way he hammered players/teams all over the NHL. I could care less if NYI/alumni praised him. (likely via Dolan's orders) Being a bully who was a company man, and little more with personal grudges against players/teams who did not play for his favorite team is what he was, nothing else. Can't improve on his conduct with Ovechin, Boyle, Trouba family, Panarin's accusers, Trottier. A media guy who sells the owners laundry is what NHL media used to be, a few of them remain. Today's media proved to be about the old boys/ladies club with their fratetnity-like tributes/resume/access first when it came to Larry the clown. They put on a poor show with their pathetic tributes to a man who hurt people because he could. Today's NHL players had nothing but silence for him.
