New York had two goals at Utah, and really scrambled for that 2-2 goal, they had one goal in Colorado, and we know they usually seem to struggle at Dallas, who like Colorado is red-hot and scoring tons of goal. We know when we peel back things Drouin, Palmieri, Lee, Cizikas, Pageau, Duclair, MacLean, even Barzal are not goal scoring snipers. Also Roy is not going to bench Cizikas for Tsyplakov, and put him/Ritchie with Shabanov for a line. Yes, they did play their best game of the trip in Colorado, it was even, but when push came to shove the usual players could not finish against a bad goalie on his knees before the shots. Horvat is a streaky scorer, he is not a sniper. Too many on this team shoot it right into the goalies logo. Not happy with any loss where the game was in the balance but time to move on.
