Flyers came in tired, desperate, and they did not play very well themselves. But it seems like Pens game broke NYI for good, same as Columbus finally had their bubble broken and lost five straight which will likely not continue hosting Winnipeg.
The scoring issues, defensive issues were clear. They came out in a building that's never been home, that the NHL hid them from playing in until they were forced to , and they came out with nothing last night. Outshot 10-1 to start, Roy's bubble broken also. Mayfield blew a tire on the slush (same as DeAngelo) and Sorokin was screened, then Schenn handed Flyers puck in front of him, and that led to a bank shot goal from behind the net. Barzal handed Pulock puck with no time to move it and he got picked on 1-0 goal. Finally Palat did whatever he does as he got spun around on the 4-1 goal. No energy, no life.
